Hall of Famer Shares his views on botched up WWE moves

The WWE has seen some iconic moves along its history which contributed to the storylines. Many of the  WWE wrestlers had made a name for themselves based on their iconic moves which were appreciated by the fans. Some moves carry a unique legacy that became special along with the superstars themselves.

Showcasing the moves by any wrestler is as important as storytelling, a poor execution of the moves ruins the credibility of that wrestler. It marks the impression of a mockup. Quite similar thoughts have been expressed by the OG, the Hall of Famer Rob Van Dam. According to Conor Renshaw of ITR WRESTLING, RVD has claimed in an interview of 1 of a Kind

“ I watch all these botch spots on Instagram. Nobody’s perfect, but there are so many. The reason is—and that’s why a lot of times I repost them—because it’s people doing s**t that’s not in their realm.”

A move needs to be practiced over time for perfect execution. Every performer in the ring must perform a perfect move that they had practised over time rather than copy another move that they had not practised to perfection.

RVD is famous for the unique style that he brings inside the ring and some specials like Five Star Frog Splash, Special Thunder and Van Daminator. He holds a special style and charisma among fans due to his rivalry against  Jeff Hardy, Chris Jericho, Triple H, and Eddie Guerrero.

Wrestling moves show the quality of a wrestler he can bring to the ring, a bad execution not only damages the reputation of the wrestler but also the franchise.
